Vendor Manager

Overview

Our client is looking for a Vendor Manager to work on their client base in South Dublin within the financial sector for 3 to 6 months contract.

You will be working closely with vendors and stakeholders to build and improve the operational engagement between them.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Chairing the operational governance meetings with the vendors, recording and reporting on the vendor operational engagements and performance against their contractual deliverables and SLAs

  • Creation of appropriate work orders to support demand management requirements

  • Owning the Customer Engagement Technologies operational relationship with the vendors and resolution of issues and escalations

  • Accountable for ensuring successful delivery of vendor transformation activities

  • Accountable for integration of vendor processes with internal finance, risk, resource and invoice management processes.

  • Working with the Digital Business Partner to ensure Customer Engagement Technologies is run as an efficient and commercially aware, service oriented business to be delivered in an efficient, repeatable and controlled way.

  • Governs that time recording is enforced across the Customer Engagement Technologies teams.

  • Works with the Partner Management team to ensure vendors are managed consistently across the Digital Customer Engagement Technologies department and that quality and the cost to serve is efficient / effective.

If you have previous experience in:

  •   Application development working with multi-disciplinary teams in the financial services sector

  •  Managing IT external vendors for large-scale IT services and change projects and implementing IT performance management reporting frameworks, e.g. IT balanced scorecards

  •    Demonstrable experience in managing vendor relationships, service and commercial outcomes of a technology service provider to a multi-product line financial services business

  • Supplier-side experience an advantage.
