The Role:

You will work in a team supporting customers with technical issues. The Technical Support Agent is the initial post sales contact and answers inbound phone calls, emails or chat interactions with the Client’s end users. You will troubleshoot, research solutions, and provide resolutions to technical and service problems. This includes inquiries concerning product hardware, software and applications.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls, emails, or chats to assess customer’s technical support needs and handle/route accordingly.
  • Creates service requests within supplied Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Provides direction to customers promoting online self-service and web based solutions.
  • Creates temporary ‘work-around’ solutions for immediate customer issues when appropriate.
 

Essential Criteria:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
  •  Experience in customer/technical support.
  •  Ability to communicate technical issues clearly based on user level.
  •   Familiarity with telephony concepts such as ISDN, PRI, analogue, VoIP and digital circuits.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and internet browsing.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Hours: 40 hours/week on a rotational shift pattern, Monday to Sunday, 7.00-18.00
