Systems Engineer – Privileged Access Management
Location: Dublin


Our Enterprise Cybersecurity division provides a broad range of security & application services to our business units across the globe. Within this division, the Privileged Access Management team are responsible for the management and monitoring of highly privileged accounts across our critical applications and infrastructure.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 3+ years of IT solution engineering
• 2+ years of experience in supporting production environments
• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management technologies like Centrify, CyberArk and SSH a plus
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization delivering quality products


The Purpose of Your Role

You will be working as part of a distributed team supporting mission critical solutions that service the needs of the enterprise and 50,000 employees across the globe. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing, engineering and maintaining enterprise authentication solutions from the major vendors in this space. The successful candidate will have a background in security practices, network protocols, authentication data flows, and application infrastructure.

The Skills You Bring

• Administrative knowledge of LINUX operating systems.
• Experience with application servers (API, XML), web services (SOAP or REST), web server (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, .NET) and programming language knowledge (PERL scripting, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Java coding) is a plus.
• Solid engineering discipline in transforming business requirements into secure and reliable solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in small to large project teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous application and platform tuning experience is a plus
• Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
• Ability to adapt to the challenge of new or unfamiliar tasks and responsibilities
• Interest in the opportunity for learning and growth as part of a broader multi-disciplinary Cyber Security team

• Perform maintenance, application upgrade and triage as a system and application administrator
• Deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and maintainable engineering solutions to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• Provide second level technical support for solutions
• Develop and maintain operational support documentation
• Contribute towards the design and implementation of monitoring tools
• Document and validate Disaster Recovery Process
