SQL Server DBA

Overview

Currently on the lookout for a SQL DBA to join a leading Irish insurance company. This is a permanent opportunity.

Key Requirements:

  • MS SQL server administrator experience, performance monitoring and tuning of databases
  • Expert in applying automation to the database environments
  • Expert in the daily support the daily administrative tasks for the database environment and in troubleshooting the specific database environments
  • Expert in the delivery of tested and verified solutions before applying to production.
  • Experience with Database Administration in general for MSSQL Server on both on-premise & cloud platforms.
  • Experience with database design & Data modelling.
  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence strategies/design as it relates to Data analysis.
  • Financial services and ideally general Insurance experience strongly desired.
  • Good project management skills; experience managing projects / requests with multiple senior stakeholders
