SharePoint Developer - 30 days annual leave

Overview

Our client is a household name within the financial sector is looking now for a SharePoint Developer to join their team in the Information Management and Technology Division.

My client is located in the heart of Dublin City Center with a down to earth office and a great benefits package including 30 days annual leave.
 

It is very important that you have the following requirements:

  • Degree (level 8 on NFQ) in IT, MIS, Engineering or other relevant IT Degrees;
  • 3 years+ experience in a structured software development environment with experience of industry-standard approaches to software development and delivery;
  • SharePoint Development 2010, 2013 & 2016;
  • A strong understanding of existing functionalities of Microsoft SharePoint 2010, SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server);
  • Experience of working as a SharePoint Developer/ Administrator in a customer-facing role;
  • Experience of implementing custom forms, workflows, web-parts and event handlers/receivers;
  • Client-side technologies; CSOM/REST, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JSON, JavaScript (and other frameworks);
  • Highly effective/Advanced Software development skills;
  • Basic projects planning & management;
  • Effective Software Delivery Lifecycle Management with a good understanding of other disciplines in the SDLC including analysis, architecture, design, quality assurance, infrastructure and service;
  • In particular, for this role of SharePoint developer, prior experience of gathering requirements and solution design is desirable;
  • Effective communications & reporting;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break complex problems down to their component parts; and
  • Strong analytical thinking and information seeking skills.

And it will make a difference in the selection process is you have:

  • Ms Certification in relevant Ms Software;
  • Previous experience with third-party tools (e.g. Nintex);
  • Experience of various software approaches including waterfall, agile and iterative;
  • Automated Unit/functional testing;
  • Microsoft BI Tools – SSIS, SSRS and SSAS (with SharePoint)
