Overview

The Expertise we’re looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent required
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Controls or Audit Role with focus in Technology Risk Controls management for large-scale, complex IT infrastructures and distributed environments
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP or audit related professional certification preferred

 

The Purpose of Your Role

 

Reporting to Director of Technology Risk Management, you will work with Technology organizations, providing guidance and best practices, ensuring that Technology Risks are identified and the Business Units IT general and other key Controls are in place and reviewed.

 

This is a hands-on analyst role, which requires a combination of both strong technical and influencing skills, as well as analysis activities, the ability to perform Risk Assessments and the management and testing of IT controls.

The Value You Deliver

 

  • Conduct in depth information technology risk assessments including identifying and documenting controls, creating detailed process flows, identifying potential gaps and/or inconsistencies and making sound recommendations for improvement and/or mitigation
  • Assess the various information technology risks that the GS or ECS may face in its operations and implement action plans, policy and procedural changes for risk avoidance and mitigation
  • Perform IT General Control program management, readiness assessments and testing
  • Provide advice, guidance and IT risk program management
  • Understand and provided consultation on information security standards and industry best practices
  • Actively monitor control remediation plans in the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system
  • Support internal and external Audit on information technology controls
  • Conduct readiness reviews over large information technology development projects ensuring appropriate systems development lifecycle methodologies are being applied and followed
