My client who is a leader in their industry whose clients include some of the world’s leading online eCommerce businesses, is currently looking for a SQL Developer / Database Engineer.

Let’s chat about this job and I can give you more details on who this company is. But to give you a bit of an idea now, my client is a leading analytics company based in Dublin City Centre. They work with some of the biggest names in the online space. The company has been scaling in size for the last 2 years with the development of an industry defining product and now is in a position of steady growth as their market becomes global. The company are financially solid with some major investment behind them.
What can I expect in this job?
You will be working in their Development Team consisting of some really good people. You will be working on scalable database solutions (100GB size) providing better insights for their reputable client base. You will work with cutting edge tech and have a major input to design and development of new database schemas and designing their new SaaS product. We hired a guy for this team recently who was really confident, down-to-earth and a specialist in the SQL area.
What do I need to bring?
Ideally you will bring at least 5 years relevant industry experience
A degree in Computer Science or computer engineering or equivalent degree
Must have an extensive knowledge in writing stored procedures in SQL
PostgreSQL experience is an advantage
Experience with DynamoDB would be a really nice thing to have but not essential.
Proven track record of working with scalable database solutions
What can I earn?
A competitive salary between €50 - 60K plus some really great benefits.
