Overview

The Senior Solutions Architect for infrastructure– CLUK/IRE/Germany provides services for all UK and Europe Lines of Business, focused on infrastructure systems architecture.

 

This role reports to the ETI Manager.

 

The role across all LOB’s, Work within projects and technology initiative to execute the architecture practice following defined standards and methodologies, communicates technology standards to respective organisational units & ensure governance of Architectural practice by monitoring compliance to Divisional and Enterprise standards

 

This role is also accountable for the development and maintenance of the Target State Architecture (TSA) to support LOBs in alignment with business needs and application requirements.

Overall Responsibility for the execution of the Architecture Practice for all Lines of Business by providing Architectural leadership of the Architects accountable for a given portfolio and/or project as appropriate.

Ensures Governance and Compliance, of all phases of system and technical architecture supporting LOBs, and responsible for quality and adherence to the Architecture Practice and required deliverables.

Defines the Target State Architecture (TSA) and ensures business requirements are incorporated into the system roadmaps.

Provides Leadership and direction within I.S to advance capabilities and ensuring the continual improvement of I.S. methods, tools, techniques an delivery of services

Performs the role of a Senior Solutions Architect across companies in Europe, responsible for the overall design and development of high quality information technology solutions within projects, and the integrity and implementation of the enterprise-wide system architecture. :

  • Acts as the focal point for significant infrastructure and development issues throughout all phases of projects
  • Ensures quality designs and implementations
  • Defines and maintains technical architectures
  • Defines infrastructure designs and collaborate and set direction with lines of business and application delivery teams in relation to technologies and the implementation of systems.
  • Consults with business clients, senior stake holders, ETS Management and project teams
