Senior Sales Executive

The Opportunity: Adaptemy is a new brand in education technology, aimed at K-12 learners. Through their adaptive learning platform and services, they make learning more personal, effective and engaging thereby empowering each individual learner and teacher. Having already gained a significant user-base throughout Ireland a Senior Sales Executive is being sought to sell the power of Adaptemy to major publishers in Europe and in the UK in particular.


The Role: Generate target revenue by conducting outbound sales activity with a mix of consultative sales and account management.


Key responsibilities


  • Achieve sales targets: Manage sales pipeline to deliver on aggressive client acquisition rates and high revenue expectations.
  • Generate leads and qualify opportunities: Through targeted marketing and client profiling, identify key contact points in organisations and understand the profitability and complexities of the opportunity.
  • Sell: Following a consultative sales approach, educate clients on the benefits of adaptive learning and Adaptemy’s platform in particular.
  • Close sale: Apply sales skills and product knowledge to close the deal.
  • Communicate: Manage the handover of the sale to the Project Manager, ensuring all information useful to an effective implementation is established and shared. Formally and informally keep all stakeholders abreast of progress towards targets and milestones.
  • Manage accounts: Continue building a strong relationship with the client through post-sales communication.
  • Business Development: Help to establish the Adaptemy name, brand and reputation within target market sectors and the industry generally. Collaborate closely with other teams on message, positioning, product development, competitive intelligence etc.
  • Report on performance: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of your book of business and accurate reporting of pipeline status, developments and market intelligence to CEO / management team and colleagues.
  • Be professional: At all times, operate to the highest professional and ethical standards.


Core Requirements

·         Dynamic self-starter with proven track record in learning solutions sales environment selling to C-level customers.

·         Highly developed and proven sales skills


Desirable Experience

·         Proven experience selling software

·         Experience in the eLearning and / or Education industry is highly desirable.

·         Experience working in a technical environment and be ‘tech-savvy’

·         €60k basic with €120 OTE, with a ramp up plan in place to support the development of a pipeline in Year 1.
