Senior Sales Engineer


Client’s Description:

Our client is an international eCommerce Solution provider. Counting their 8th year they have won a number of awards and have customers based all over the globe.

Their software helps online retailers’ efficiently control customer journey and easily manage checkout, logistics, payments, shipments, etc. With the current expansion of online shopping, their team is rapidly growing and they’re looking to hire a Lead Customer Relationship Manager for their US offices in New Jersey.


The Job:

They are currently expanding their product development and client delivery teams and looking for a talented Senior Sales Engineer who will be involved in all steps of the client lifecycle, from pre-sales to scoping and implementation.

Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Engineer include:

  • Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales stage
  • Gather and document client’s technical requirements
  • Solution design and enhancement during the client lifecycle
  • Manage clients’ expectations and implementation schedule
  • Manage the client relationship from the pre-sales stage until go live


The Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a technical sales management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Technology / Engineering
  • Knowledge of B2C eCommerce solutions and processes (website, payment, logistics)
  • Project Management experience (knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies)
  • A structured approach to specifying, documentation and planning
  • Willingness to travel (25-30% of the time)
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
