Senior Python Engineer @Mature eCommerce Start-Up 

What is this Opportunity? 
My client is a growing product based company who are looking to hire a Senior Python Engineer for a new team being created in their Dublin office.

But to give you a bit of an idea now, my client has created an eCommerce product which has huge demand by some of the world’s leading online retailers such as Amazon. They have a Software Engineering team of about 10 people, really smart guys, down to earth who are passionate about technology and what they do, and are now creating a new team in Dublin. 

What can I expect in this job? 
You will be working closely with their clients in developing their existing product (in Python) and impacting on its advancement and new functionality. You will be involved in full-stack Python development working on the full SDLC, getting involved in decision making, architectural decision and helping lead a small team in Dublin. 

What do I need to bring? 
Ideally you will bring at least 5 years commercial software engineering experience to this job. 
You will be well versed and experienced in Python programming. Python is the language you speak! 
Experience working with the Django framework is ideal 
Full-stack development experience would be preferred but not essential 
If you have experience with Javascript and AngularJS that would be nice, but let’s not worry too much about these. 
Experience leading a small team or leading projects is highly preferred. 
A degree in Computer Science or similar IT related degree is preferred 
Fluent English and good communication skills are needed. 

What can I earn? 
A competitive salary between €60-70K, but let’s not focus only on this.
