Key
Accountability
and
Responsibilities
• You
will
report
directly
to
the
VP
of
Engineering
• Help
define
and
shape
technical
architecture
of
Packlink’s
systems
• Coach
and
supervise
engineering
team;
grow
team’s
excellence
around
the
Java
programming
platform
and
cloud
technologies
• Initiate
and
maintain
communication
with
the
technical
departments
and
teams
of
our
external
collaborators,
in
order
to
optimize
the
development
process
and
facilitate
a
simple
and
stable
future
integration
with
Packlink’s
platform

Asia,
integrating
with
numerous
third
parties.

Technical
requirements:
• A
minimum
of
5
years
of
real
hands-­?on
experience
developing
in
Java
in
a
professional
environment
using
Spring.
• Advanced
understanding
of
object
oriented
programming
principles.
• Confidence
and
professional
background
working
with
Maven,
Gradle,
Jenkins
and
continuous
integration
and
delivery
tools.
• Experience
with
Docker,
Consul,
RabbitMQ,
Cloud
Foundry
and
other
cloud-­?enabling
technologies
highly
preferred.
• Experience
working
in
an
agile
environment
and
applying
Scrum/Kanban.
• Java
8
Knowledge
would
be
strongly
preferred.
• Git
experience
will
be
positively
considered.
