Our client is a global independent communications company providing consultancy, phone system maintenance and network services to a variety of different Enterprise clients worldwide. 

The Role

As a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive you should be an excellent communicator and facilitator. You should have the capability to propose concise, complete and compelling solutions to our customers, which deliver real business value. The ideal candidate should have a number of years’ experience in new business development and will have developed a wide range of contacts, with a good reputation in the marketplace. The candidate will sell full suite of services to the corporate type clients across the industries.

Description of Key Activities / Responsibilities

  • Business development for new Enterprise customers
  • Maintain and deliver on a sales pipeline of prospects to agreed quality, time and resource constraints
  • Responsible for delivering agreed targets, quarterly and overall annually
  • Drive growth by increasing the flow of opportunities
  • Initiate and qualify opportunities
  • Provide the required level of pre and post-sales engagement to secure new and/or repeat business
  • Communicate effectively to quantify operational, financial and business advantages of the proposed offerings with project and development teams
  • Networking and Relationship Development with clients, prospects and industry partners
  • Set account strategies to maximise revenues
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships internally and externally, and effectively communicate at all levels
  • Market research and staying on the top of the technology offering

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Relevant telecommunications services market knowledge, with a strong list of personal contacts, understanding of key influencers, networking groups and their roles.
  • Minimum of 7+ years Enterprise business development and account management experience
  • Viewed as a “trusted advisor” by previous customers
  • Has the ability to engage comfortably at the most senior level and has a deep understanding of the customer’s business.  Typically acts as a customer advocate.
  • Demonstrate ability to not only create the initial sale, but to create a rapidly growing revenue stream through expansion into multiple business units.
  • Solid negotiating, pricing, closing and relationship skills required
  • Proven experience working from executive (c level) to operational level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Refined questioning and listening skills
  • Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated and confident


The role is based near Reading, but candidates should be prepared to travel to customer sites.

Company offers excellent package with high base salary (negotiable) and 15-20% commission from the margin.
