Sales Representative

Overview

We have an opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our client, leader in the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland.

 

Some details about this position:

 

Technical Sales Role – Analytical equipment

Target Markets: Pharma/Biopharma, Food, Environmental, Chemical, Academia

Expectation to be customer facing majority of the time

Social Media profile development and management

Business development – Identification of potential opportunities for company growth (additional technologies that fit with the portfolio)

Area – Countywide

Home office based when not meeting customers

 

 

Your Day-Day expectations will be:

 

Meet existing customers but more importantly grow the business for both Brands from existing database

Direct sales customer facing of the CEM (Microwave Technology) Oxford Instruments (NMR) and Parker (Gas Generators) equipment throughout Ireland (32 counties North and South)

Cold Calling will also be part of the sales process

Manage and grow a customer database (Salesforce)

Equipment Demonstration as required

Technical product training provided (Ireland and UK based)

 

 

And it is important that you have the following experience:

 

We need a self-motivated person who is comfortable working from home and on the road and is driven by sales targets. 

1-3 years sales experience, diploma/degree in Science (Analytical/Chemistry/ Biochemistry/food science). 

Familiarity with the food/dairy industry would be an advantage but not necessary. 

The successful candidate must be familiar with business social media (LinkedIN, Twitter etc).
