Growing Irish SaaS start-up looking to recruit Head of Sales to drive sales and help to establish company’s presence across Europe.

Our client, ambitious, growing Irish Start up started their journey 3 years ago. Since, they have grew and matured having 7 people in place and getting more and more customers on a daily basis. They have created a unique SaaS which has no competition in a particular sector.

Now they are looking to appoint Sales Director to build up the sales team, implement SaaS metrics, processes and procedures, own the pipeline, draft and execute strategy for the coming years.

Job Description

The Job:
As a Sales Director you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic SaaS plan to achieve targets and grow the customer base. This cannot be done without building an effective sales function within the company. You will be tasked to put sales remuneration and incentives programme in place as well as managing daily KPI’s of sales people.

Smooth work with marketing department is vital here, as you would need to evaluate the leads coming from campaigns and work on different initiatives alongside marketing department.
On the other side, more strategic input from the person is expected: Sales Director will build a network of partners, influences and advocates to grow the awareness of the product and sales pipeline. The person would own the target and track the results on monthly and quarterly basis.

The Fit:
We are looking for an energetic Sales Director who would have passion for his job and would be able to go an extra mile to make a difference. Whether you would need to make a strategic decision or help the sales guys on complicated deals - we would expect you to be hands on and ready.

The Experience:
We are looking for some very specific experience. First of all, we would expect you to come from SaaS environment and understanding the Customer Lifecycle in Software as a Service business. Secondly, you would have experience managing and growing the team. Moreover, culturally it's important that you would have experience in start-up or a start-up team/department and would have proven track record of growing teams and revenue.

5+ years in sales and experience in developing products or go to market strategies – would be really needed.

In addition, collaboration is very important to be successful in this job - whether it is with marketing, development, support or success teams - we are looking here for your deep understanding of all those functions.
Finally, we expect you to be comfortable working on assigned targets and you would have previously demonstrated success bringing sales function to a next level.

The Salary:
Basic salary of around €60k + OTE (potential to earn 3x + company shares)

Our client is based in a very handy city centre location – towards South-side direction.
