Our client is one of the largest travel agent groups in UK. They have been known as experts in their field providing the best services to their customers. They have a big number of member partners which they offer exceptional travel products. As the team grows, they are looking for experienced Sales professional who would be able to recruit new member partners, as well as manage and grow existing member accounts.

 

Job Description

 

The Job:

 

As Sales Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Business Development (and work alongside the Business Development team), and you will be responsible for managing existing member accounts, as well as recruiting and onboarding new members. You will identify new key members, develop a strategy to engage them and maximise selling opportunities.

 

You will also be responsible, as Sales Development Manager, for the onboarding and training of new members, developing a training and implementation plan, and delivering training face-to-face and via webinar. You will track results and provide members with feedback and updates on their performance, as well as acting as the liaison between the members and the Network and ensure all feedback is captured and shared internally.

 

Successful candidate will be familiar with the tourism market, must have excellent communication and networking skills and be able to build and develop strong relationships both internally and externally at all levels.

 

The Fit:

We are looking for an ambitious and determined sales professional, with high levels of energy and excellent communication and presentation skills. Must have strong abilities to build and develop relationships with clients, prospects and partners in the tourism area, by phone, email and face-to-face. Strong coaching/training, and previous experience with client onboarding or implementation will be a plus.

 

The Experience - once more:

Candidate must have 3+ years' experience in similar role (business development, account management, client relationship management) within the tourism industry, market understanding, and keep up to date with industry trends and news. Previous experience successfully working against high targets is required.
