Overview

Quality Assurance Analyst

The QA Analyst is required to carry out testing in the areas of software, data quality and process improvements and to assist in the delivery of timely, accurate and complete data to the business using existing tools and processes. 

Main responsibilities:

-Maintain a solid understanding of the end-to-end Data Life Cycle (DLC) from source data through to processing and visualisation.

-Ensure that Quality Assurance (QA) acceptance criteria meets standards defined in test plans. All aspects of testing including unit testing, integration, performance testing, system testing and UAT

-Liaise with and/or educate TPAs, IT Vendor (Isban) located off-site and other external stakeholders in relation to core Insurance Platform architecture and ETL specifications. 

-Work with business representatives to identify and understand their detailed business requirements.

-Contributes to the development of test plans, test scripts and release documentation.

-Execute test scripts and test cases and reporting and tracking of results/issues.

-Support testing deadlines on assigned projects ensuring that each defect is managed to resolution.

-Participate in or support various testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance.

-Analysis of data received from TPAs, detecting and correcting data errors, supporting the development and loading of correct data to the core system.

-Responsible for the testing of IT solutions to ensure they correspond with documented specifications

and business requirements.

Summary or role competencies:

-Experience working through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle, with emphasis on software quality assurance and testing.

-Microsoft Office proficiency 

-Ability to identify design flaws and make recommendations in order to ensure best possible quality

outcome.

-Work well under pressure and demonstrate continuous commitment to quality and service.

-Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards

-Effective verbal and written communication skills.

-Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills.

-Strong organisation skills.

-Team oriented, self-starter who owns work to completion with minimal direct supervision.

-Business level Spanish is an advantage

-Experience in working in a multilingual, multicultural environment.

-A college degree in Business, or equivalent work experience.
