Overview

QA Lead
Dublin

• Thorough knowledge of testing methods and the software development lifecycle • Must have extensive experience using generic test management systems and defect tracking databases • Experience in Test Automation is an important requirement. Ability to work with off-shore teams to create a suite of automation tests to ensure more robust coverage of our content testing. • Requires good problem-solving and analytical skills • Experience working with large outsourced QA and development teams • Experience working in cross-functional teams • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, accurately and professionally across many functional teams and stakeholders • Experience working with vendors on development and testing for accessibility • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams including participation in the following: Scrum meetings, Task Planning, Team Retrospectives etc. • Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries • Experience using automated testing tools • Jira experience desirable • Strong understanding of global accessibility laws and standards such as WCAG 2.0/2.1 • Knowledge of assistive technologies used for web browsing such as JAWS or NVDA • Proficient in carrying out comprehensive Accessibility testing of Web and Mobile applications including keyboard navigation, screen readers and color contrast tool
