Overview
Are you an experience Project Manager with a track record in Office 365 Implementations (1000+ users)?
We have a 9 months contract position with immediate start in Potters Bar, UK.
You will be working on a large transformation project within the IT department.
The PM will have experience in both traditional and agile methods.
More specifically, you will:

Be the single accountable party for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering a given project

Directly manage all aspects of the project life-cycle and works with matrix IT partners to oversee all SDLC phases of a project

Ensure end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit

Direct projects of varying complexity
-
Be accountable for one or more initiatives including business, operational, and IT deliverable

Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost and quality parameters
-
Validate financial forecasts and provides ongoing reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
-
Develop communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilities
-
Serve as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives

Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums
-
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan

Develop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artefacts
What you will bring to the table?

Industry recognized Project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2).

Proven experience of managing Microsoft O365 implementation at scale (>1000 users)
-
Experience of implementing Microsoft collaboration tools e.g. Yammer, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online (including e-Discovery), Exchange Hybrid, Intranet, OneDrive, Skype/Teams and associated tools such as Azure Information Protection, MDM & AAD Connect.

Knowledge of managing in Microsoft environments including Active Directory & Windows 10

10+years' experience in coordinating and managing technology projects in large corporate organisations

Interpersonal skills to maintain and develop relationships at all levels within the firm and with the outsourcing providers.

Enthusiastic and detail oriented with focus on producing high quality work.

Experience taking the initiative and working proactively to complete tasks and solve problems.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.

Experience of working in an IT environment.

An understanding of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) process / disciplines.

Office skills for creating charts, graphs etc. for reporting

Ability to work in a structured manner

Lead the project overall on a day to day basis

Develop and maintain detailed project plans and other core project documentation

Monitor, track and drive actions
