My client who is a Worldwide Payment Technology Company is looking to hire an Application/Production Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

What can I expect in this job?

As part of the Global Application Support Team you will be responsible for providing Level 2 & Level 3 Application & Deployment Support to customers. You will be working alongside a team of Senior Support Engineers who are passionate about providing an excellent service to their customers. You will also be co-ordinating with the development and QA Teams to remediate issues.


What do I need to bring?

Any support related industry certifications would be advantageous

Experience on Linux/Windows Platform is essential

Ideally 3+ years’ experience is required.

Experience with remote connection methods such as RDP, Putty, SSH , FTP        

Experience with SQL, Middleware, Weblogic and JVM is essential

Ability to work independently, efficiently to meet deadlines in high pressured, 24*7 environment

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational & presentation skills


What can I earn?

A salary of up to €55,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package. You will also get the chance to work with up to date technologies and become a subject matter expert.
