Overview

My client is looking for an experienced Penetration Tester. This individual will play a key role in the development of Technical Security Assessment service line, working on projects including Web Application Pen Tests, Internal and External Infrastructure Pen Tests, Red Teaming activities and Social Engineering Campaigns. While this role has a specific focus on Penetration Testing and associated Red Team services, the successful candidate will also be given the opportunity work across our other security-related service lines, including Incident Response, Digital Forensics, etc., allowing them to further develop and expand their skillset.

What does this role look like? The successful candidate will:

Work on a variety of technical security assessment types, including but not limited to:

Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, Social Engineering/Phishing Campaigns, Secure Code Reviews

Help to ensure that our team’s methodologies, tools and skillset are best-in-class

Support other service lines (e.g. Incident Response) as required, by utilising their technical acumen and their understanding of both relevant threats/attacks and related countermeasures.

Required skills/experience:

A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, etc.

Up-to-date knowledge of current techniques and technologies

An understanding of Security Architecture, especially in relation to enterprise-grade networks/systems

Experience with cloud technologies, especially in relation to security assessments and the development/deployment of secure cloud infrastructure

Excellent verbal and written skills Preferred skills/experience:

Third-level qualification in Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline

Experience testing mobile applications

Experience performing secure code reviews

Experience with and/or knowledge of system/network administration

Coding experience with one or more programming/query languages, e.g. Python, SQL

Experience in a client-facing role, for example in a professional services organisation
