Microsoft AX Functional Lead

The purpose of the role is to provide Microsoft AX Order to Cash and Finance Support, Configuration and Solution Design services to our client in North Dublin.

 

Key Responsibilities

The main areas of responsibility for a Lead Functional AX Consultant are:

  • Working directly with end users to understand their business processes and determining solutions and project deliverables
  • Utilising specialist knowledge of Finance/ Distribution & Trade/ HR processes and the Microsoft Dynamics product to support the development and expansion of Dynamics AX
  • Developing approaches to improve or replace existing processes and procedures with best-in-class solutions
  • Taking ownership of the design of bespoke AX solutions, which may include complex integrations
  • Writing functional requirements and specifications documents
  • Managing testing of solutions
  • Acting as the translation point between end users, management and selected implementation partners
  • Effectively managing large work streams to stay within scope, meet or exceed project schedule and remain within the approved budget
  • Delivering end user training

Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in a MS Dynamics AX environment
  • Great knowledge of FMCG & Logistics Sector
  • Experience in OTC and PTP processes
  • Results orientated
  • Experience in a similar role essential
