Management Consultant

Overview

Our client is a multinational consultancy specializing in the Banking/Insurance sectors are looking for a Management Consultant with 5 years’ experience as a Management Consultant

 

Your Role

  • Participate in delivering business transformation projects to exceed client expectations by demonstrating strong problem solving and implementation capabilities
  • Contribute to business problem solving delivering robust analysis that outlines how clients can change their business to achieve real benefit
  • Participate in re-engineering business models whether it is at a strategic business-wide level or at a functional or process level
  • The utilization of strong analytical skills to provide solutions for both technical and business-related issues associated with the implementation business analytics solutions.
  • Management of budgets, timescales and be commercially aware.
  • Participate in developing business models and process architectures at both a strategic business-wide level or at a functional level
  • Participate in process workshops, conduct problem-solving and root-cause analysis to design and implement process improvements
  • Support and manage process improvement projects as required
  • Translate concepts into practice, identify process improvement opportunities, and quantify results and trends
  • Assist in change management activities and support the implementation of process improvements and adoption of new ways of working

Experience

  • 5 + years' experience within the Banking and/or Insurance industry
  • Minimum 2.1 Degree in either a Business or IT discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • An understanding of generic business strategy and the components that underpin high performance
  • Excellent consultative, communication, presentation and management skills.
  • Entitlement to work in the UK

Desired:

  • An awareness of the use and application of business models and process architectures
  • Ability to apply different approaches to gathering and analysing data, identify trends and issues and develop insights
  • Ability to develop and present high-quality outputs to delivery deadlines
  • A Lean Six Sigma green belt level equivalent or above and experience in Lean and continuous improvement methods and tools in particular the development of process and value stream maps
  • Experience with enterprise/business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF/BIZBOK
  • Knowledge of process modelling applications such as Aris, Blueworks, iGraphx, and MS Viso
  • Experience in utilizing generic/industry process models such as ACORD, APQC, ITIL and IAA
  • Experience in using BPMN 2.0 conventions
  • Experience in using Robot Process Automation tools such as UI Path and Blueprism to automate manual business processes
