Junior QA Engineer

Overview

We are on the lookout of a passionate Junior QA who is eager to learn from the best!

My client has built the largest international mobile top-up platform that makes transferring top-up as frictionless as possible. The end user is always put first and gets the best experience ever!

If part of this team, you will:

• Contribute to acceptance and regression testing efforts
• Running automated tests, monitoring results for regression purposes
• Monitoring logs and deciding when there is a problem, during the testing process; investigating possible bugs
• Reporting bugs following the team standards
• Support the team in releasing new functionality on a frequent basis
• Ensure all relevant team members are aware of potential blockers
• Develop a strong knowledge of the high dependency multi-tiered architecture
• Review user stories and provide support to product managers in delivering requirements to the development team
• Champion excellent quality within the team; push high standards in all aspects of development
• Develop a deep understanding of the Kanban methodologies 

To get in the team, you need:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a software testing role
• Experience using REST API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.)
• Ability to interrogate databases using SQL
• Experience of product and testing tools such as JIRA Agile, Kanbanize, TCLab, Bugzilla, Test Rail etc.
• Ability to manage frequent release cycles
• Strong attention to detail
