IT Vendor Administrator

  1. role will form an integral part of the IT team and will support both driving vendor service excellence and the smooth delivery of IT services to our stakeholders. The role will provide additional capacity within the team for managing operational relationships and performance of our external vendors whilst managing expectations of key internal stakeholders to deliver results in line with business goals.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the management of vendors in line with the IT Supplier Management Policy to ensure all stages of the vendor lifecycle are actively integrated.

• Support the outsourcing due diligence process by actively engaging with new IT vendors during the on boarding stage.

• Work with the business areas to partner on ensuring new and existing suppliers are appropriately assessed and monitored for IT standards.

• Gather required evidence of vendor IT controls.

• Provide initial assessment on the quality of vendor responses to due diligence requests.

• Support the compilation of SLA and meeting documentation for the purposes on ongoing IT vendor performance management.

• Any other ad hoc duties when required.

• Previous experience liaising with and managing external vendors

• Exposure to ISO27001 framework and assessment

• Understanding of Vendor Management and Governance best practice

• Strong, proven negotiation skills and ability to influence others particularly when working with external vendors

• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and deal with changing priorities

• Desirable but not essential for the role: Experience of working in the insurance sector, preferably in a cross-border business environment, Experience in working in a multilingual, multicultural environment, Experience working in a regulatory environment. Experience working with or acting as an IT auditor
