Overview

We have a requirement for a motivated individual to support our IT Department to ensure that a high level of IT Support is provided in all business areas within the company and that all IT Projects are implemented in an effective and efficient manner .This is a “hands-on” role and the successful candidate should be flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • IT software and Hardware repairs, knowledge of printers, scanners, PDA’s handheld scanners
  • Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of IT Systems
  • Undertake IT related projects across the whole company
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills quickly
  • Provide effect support for the company network, email, internet and MS applications
  • Ensure knowledge of the latest emerging technologies is accurate at all time
  • Ability to manage projects from start up to completion
  • Manage Helpdesk in busy environment
  • Admin and other Ad hoc duties.

 

CRITERIA

  • Diploma / Degree in an IT related discipline (Computers / Electronics) would be an advantage and 1-2 years’ experience in an IT Support role
  • Knowledge of Active directory , Windows server
  • In depth understanding of Microsoft windows 7, 8, 10 and hands on experience of same.
  • Previous knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not essential
  • Project Management experience is desirable
  • Excellent understanding of Ms Application ,2007,2010, 2013, 2016
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN , VPN , Firewall , VoIP, TCPIP,
  • Cisco certification an advantage
  • Proven experience in windows server 2008, 2012 & 2016, Active Directory, IT Support for PC and Laptops connected on LAN and on Microsoft operating Systems
  • Microsoft certification would be an added advantage
  • Proactive and self-motivated, who learns quickly and is able to work under minimum supervision
  • Excellent team player and communication skills essential and enjoys customer interaction
  • “Hands on” role and must be able to prioritise tasks and must be flexible
