Infraestructure Architect

Overview

Responsibilities:

Define and document the platform’s architecture aligned to the global strategy.
Evaluate the state-of- the-art and select the best solution that suits the product functionalities.
Implement MVPs to help evaluate new technologies and functionalities.
Share high and low level architecture knowledge with different Stratio teams and customers.
Help implementing any solution to dev teams.

 

Required skills:

Fluency in Docker and Container orchestration (e.g. Mesos, K8s, Rancher, CoreOS).

Experience in at least one of: Python, Java, Bash, Golang.
Cloud Providers architecture/implementations (e.g. AWS, GCE, Azure).
Problem solving: Global thinking, proactively detect anomalies in the architecture, generate alternative solutions.
Advanced Linux administration (containers-oriented).
Software Defined technologies (in particular SDN and SDS).
Advance Networking knowledge: protocols, troubleshooting, security.
Experience in Ansible automation tool.
Experience with REST APIs.
Open minded: Accept solutions from anyone.
Fast learner/Self-taught: Grab concepts with minimal explanation.
Notions of Jenkins CI (continuous integration) tool.
Security knowledge (e.g. Oauth, OpenID connect, TLS, SSO, AAA)
Laugh no matter what.

Desired skills:

Knowledge of Apache Spark. 

OpenStack and Openshift.

Familiar with a VCS (prefered git).
Enjoy troubleshooting unknown causes.
Familiar with Agile methodologies.
