Information Security Manager - Architecture & Projects

Overview

A major and important bank in Ireland is looking for an Information Security Manager – Architecture and Projects in the Information Management & Technology Division. This role is a permanent contract and it is located in Dublin

The main purpose of your future job will be to manage, enhance and maintain the enterprise architecture model for Information Security with ownership for all Information Security project involvement within the bank. 

You will be required to develop and manage the architecture for Information Security to support the delivery of the bank's Information Security strategy and plan.

Among other responsibilities, you will manage and coach the Information Security team and you will ensure that all risks are identified and corrective controls are applied before new systems or business process are introduced into the bank.

Your leadership is crucial for the development of the team so they can reach their objectives.

The position requires to work with other teams across the bank. You will ensure that the monitoring and measuring of compliance with the bank’s Information Security policy and standards is embedded in design practices and processes.

For this crucial role, we expect you will have at least 7 years’ experience working in a similar area of Information Technology Security, preferably in the Financial Services sector.

You need to be certified in CRISC – CISM - CISSP - Industry standard qualifications, SANS

Our ideal candidate will also have strong or advanced skills in the following areas: Enterprise technical architecture, Data protection, Encryption, Identity & Access Management, Governance, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Network Security, Security Architecture, Threat/ Vulnerability Assessment Management, 3rd party assessment
