Our client is a mature Irish SaaS start-up. Counting their 5th year and having more than 45 employees, they are expanding further and looking to scale up their Technical Support team.

They are happy to take on board ambitious graduates wanting to progress their career in Technical Support.

Job Description

As a Technical Support Representative, you will be the Customer’s main point of contact providing support with any technical issues/queries they may have. Whether this is an SQL, web or networking issue – you are the responsible one to get it sorted. You will help to calm down annoyed customers and do your best to satisfy them. Responding to emails, phone calls, tickets, and troubleshooting queries – is the daily bread and butter of the technical support team.

You will have also remote colleagues based in US, and Dublin’s Technical Support team will have your back and teach you the best practises in the area, so you could do your best from the very beginning and could grow with the company.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related education. You have strong organisational, time management and teamwork skills. You have good knowledge of SQL, Web troubleshooting, understanding the code, network troubleshooting, Linux/Command line and browser debugging tools (e.g. Firebug).

We believe you have excellent English level skills, so you can deal with customers even if they speak with different accents. Full training is provided.

Some experience in a Customer Support or Tech Support role will be an advantage.

The Salary

€25-30k

Location

Our client is based in a very handy location - looking into Liffey River from North side of Dublin. You can take a bus, Luas, dart or use the parking slot available.

The Start

You can start immediately once you went through the application procedure.
