GAA Account Manager / Account Management

 

Our client is an Irish technology start-up helping clubs to manage member data.

We are looking for a Club Account Manager responsible for the Leinster region. The successful candidate will work with amateur sports clubs in the region to aid their development by giving their volunteers the tools and support to fulfil their roles more efficiently.

The role Would include:

  • Follow up on marketing-qualified leads and reach out to new potential leads through cold calling
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with volunteers at sports clubs in your region
  • Deliver online and in-person product demos to prospective customers
  • Present at local and regional seminars to interested clubs and sporting bodies
  • Act as the customers representative within the company – highlight needs, challenges and potential for new products and/or product enhancements
  • Achieve agreed quarterly sales targets and provide monthly progress reports
  • Implement sales process to maximise sales funnel conversions
  • Work with marketing department to deliver targeted follow-up to new mass marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Proven track record in target-driven sales environment
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite and CRM software
  • Full Irish driving license or equivalent
  • Native English speaker
  • Knowledge of amateur sports club volunteering a plus (but not essential)
