Financial Controller - Maternity Cover - Dublin 1

Reporting to the Finance Director


  • Preparation of month-end accounts to group reporting deadlines
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts including detailed commentary
  • Statutory financial statements reporting and tax compliance
  • Maintain and develop a best practice financial control environment
  • Provide analytical support to all operational areas of the business
  • Manage external service providers including audit, pension, payroll etc
  • Manage and develop the budgeting process and model
  • Development and implementation of a new billing system
  • Lead, motivate, coach and reward staff to optimise their personal development and contribution to business success

The Skills Required:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE
  • Strong commercial skills and an ability to contribute to both operational and strategic business initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Experience in project management or system implementation is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in managing a team
