Our client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who is highly motivated, energetic and looking to join an ambitious Irish company. In this position you will maintaining the effective finance function, supporting the Finance, Operations, Commercial Divisions of the business.

About the role:

  • Maintain and develop a best practice financial control environment
  • Responsibility for financial management of multiple entities globally
  • Lead & coach staff to optimise their personal development & contribution to business success
  • Timely and accurately processing of monthly financial close to include job costing experience
  • Provide detailed analytical support to all operational areas of the business
  • Tax Compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Assist in implementation of in-house ERP system
  • Liaising with the payroll manager
  • Manage and develop the budgeting process and modelling
  • Manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ad hoc projects as required

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA / CIMA qualified with 5 years POE in a fast paced company
  • People management experience
  • Strong commercial skills and an ability to contribute to both operational and strategic business initiatives
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation – capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team
