Financial Analyst

Overview

We are working with a Global Blue Chip bank which is currently expanding its Finance Department in Dublin city-centre.

The role will involve performing a range of finance tasks which may include reporting, business performance and analysis, cost management

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of key financial reporting deliverables for both stakeholders and wider Group stakeholders (Board reports, weekly revenue reporting, cost reporting and support for external results announcements)
  • Support delivery of key planning deliverables - Medium Term Plan, Rolling forecasts and Stress Tests
  • Support the wider strategy through insightful analysis and understanding of Commercial aspects
  • Scenario modelling and analysis of the financial performance
  • Maintain and operate fit for purpose systems and datasets for reporting, planning and analysis and alignment to common control data sets

Skills:

  • P&L and B/S analysis
  • Experience in Financial Reporting, Control, Planning and/or Analytics
  • Professional accountancy qualification or equivalent relevant experience e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate complex financial analysis to non-financial people
  • An understanding of finance and banking
