Financial Accountant


Our Client

Our client is a Blue Chip publically listed company involved in the fuel retail business across a number of geographical markets. The company has recently gone through a period of rapid growth, largely through acquisition, and expects to continue on this trajectory allowing excellent career progression opportunities. They are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant in to their high performing Finance team to support the Head of Finance.    


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (preferably Big4)
  • 2- 3 years industry experience
  • Experience of SAP an advantage,
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability,
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as capable of working on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills


  • Assisting with periodical financial reporting and management accounts preparation  
  • Preparation of a management reporting pack together with supporting schedules
  • Working capital management
  • Assisting in budget and forecasting process
  • Working with operational and Group staff to ensure operational efficiencies and compliance
  • On-going process improvements
