Finance Project Manager (Contract)

Overview

Our Client, one of the world's biggest insurers, needs a Finance PM to support a number of Finance Initiatives from regulatory reporting to general ledger migration.
 

You will oversee three main projects

  1. Migration from SAP system to Oracle.
  2. Solvency II. Currently, Solvency II has a singular reporting function…they are moving this to group-wide reporting function
  3. Compliance and regulation. Need to have someone with IFRS the 2015 regulations need to be reported and completed and the 2017 regulation need to start kicking off.

It will be a 6 months contract role with a view to becoming permanent, based in Tara Street (Dublin 2).

As a PM you won't be in charge of running the migration itself but will have the responsibility for managing the team which is migrating the data.


You will have to have hands-on experience in the use of Solvency II, following the EU insurance regulation. Besides, you''ll bring transparency, accountability and efficiency by putting in practice IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), always acting as a reference for the company and Europe.
