FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER (12 Month Maternity Cover FTC) – North County Dublin

An opportunity has arisen for 12 Month Contract for a Finance Business Partner to join our client’s finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be key to ensuring the successful completion of periodic reporting as well as being involved in a range of projects for the betterment of internal company processes.

The candidate will be a qualified accountant with ideally 3+ years post-qualified experience with the ability to integrate quickly in to a strong team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely preparation of finance pack and presentation of same to Senior Management
  • Be responsible for integrity and timeliness of financial and management reporting
  • Oversee and manage periodic financial audits
  • Ensure compliance with formal financial reporting requirements
  • Prepare financial forecasting and budgets for the company
  • Be involved in a range of ad-hoc projects as may arise
  • Ensure tax and legal compliance in Ireland and in overseas jurisdictions in which the Group operates

Candidate Profile:

  • Likely to have a minimum of 3+ years PQE in a similar position
  • Professional Accounting Designation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Comfortable with taking responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Ability to integrate quickly in to a mature finance team
  • Comfortable dealing with tax and legal issues
  • Strong internal and external communication skills
