Commercial Procurement Manager for large telecommunications services provider (6-month contract with opportunity to go perm)

New opportunity for a Commercial Procurement Manager to join a large telecommunications company based Dublin.

Job Description

The Job:

Reporting to the Head of Head of Commercial and General Procurement, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing activities across the assigned categories: advisory, marketing, shared services, property, facilities and HR services. You will also be responsible for all non-technical procurement for the company.


The Fit:

The successful candidate will have a 5 years’ procurement of a broad range of indirect services, professional Procurement qualification, experience in contracting and managing Suppliers and or Managed Service providers, be an experienced user of e-procurement tool (Coupa) and ERP would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who has previously worked on his/her own initiative and able to go independently through projects and contracts and make decisions.

Previous experience managing big budgets and ability to negotiate contracts is vital.

Successful candidate is commercially savvy, has very strong negotiation skills, driven to achieve ‘saving targets’, has ability to make strong decisions and has excellent communication skills.
