Client's Description:

Our client is the Ireland’s well-known Brand builder having 24 years of experience and global brands in their portfolio.

Customer centric focused and innovatively looking into the market trends they managed to grow significantly and establish themselves and their brands on the market place. From retail chains to small shops and pubs – they are present in all kind of point of sale places.


As the team expands and the previous person progressed within the company we are looking for ambitious, commercial and insightful Category Development Manager for Beverages.



The Job:

You will be the owner of the whole category – around 10 well selling SKU’s. Whatever it takes you - from category review, data analysis, insights on pricing, performance analysis up to talking to retailers presenting the insights and working on management reviews – you are the driver of sales performance and success of the brand.

Marketing part and understanding the merchandising effectiveness is your bread and butter of the role as well.



The Fit:

We are looking for a person able to work with data, speak to retailers and able to present the insights to senior management teams. Commercial mind set is a key, ability to speak to customers and store managers is taken for granted in this role.


The Experience:


We are looking for some very specific experience. First of all, we would ideally expect you to come from FMCG background. You should be able to work with data and turn data into insights. If you worked before with complex Excel sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) or even better if used before Nielsen Data, Dunnhumby Data, Talysis Data in conjunction with MS Office Suite (strong PowerPoint skills) – we are happy to have a conversation with you.

You would have confidence speaking to senior management team, strong presentation skills, negotiations and time management skills.



The Salary:

€40-48k base salary + 10% bonus (company/performance based) + travel expenses covered



Our client is based in a very handy city centre location – South side from the Liffey River, close to the Green Luas Line.
