Our client is one of the largest travel agent groups in UK. They have been known as experts in their field providing the best services to their customers. They have a big number of member partners which they offer exceptional travel products. As the team grows, they are looking for experienced Field Sales professional who would be able to recruit new member partners and upsell current with new products and solutions.


Job Description


The Job:

Field Sales Manager will be responsible of initiating and qualifying new business opportunities in South Midlands and London. Will be in charge of maintaining the sales pipeline to deliver on agreed targets and driving company growth.

Successful candidate will be familiar with the tourism market, must have excellent communication and networking skills and be able to build and develop strong relationships both internally and externally at all levels.

Field Sales Manager will be an expert in understanding customer needs, and will look after setting account strategies and providing pre and post-sales engagement to secure new and repeat business.


The Fit:

We are looking for an ambitious and determined field sales professional, with high levels of energy and excellent communication skills. Must have great presence and have strong abilities to cultivate and develop relationships with clients, prospects and partners in the tourism area. Previous client facing experience is very important for this role.


The Experience - once more:

Candidate must have 2+ years' experience in field sales and account management within the tourism industry, market understanding and preferably (but not necessarily) personal contacts network.

Strong negotiation, closing and relationship skills are required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good presentation skills, motivation and confidence are essential for this role. Proven experience of writing sales proposals is required.


The Salary:

£30k p.a. + benefits, bonus, company car (if required) (negotiable)



Our client is based in London, but the role will be field based. Successful candidate will need to attend company's meeting once per month.
