Our client is a fast-paced exciting SaaS company that develops an ecommerce platform to for retailers to manage, create and deploy shoppable content, increasing productivity and online conversions.

With 3 locations in US and Europe, and over 100 employees, the company is in expansion and looking for a Business Development Representative to join their New York City office.

 

 

Job Description

The Job:

 

As a Business Development Representative, you will be prospecting and qualifying leads, building a robust pipeline of outbound sales opportunities, working against defined quarterly quotas. You will be connecting with Tier 1 retailers, conducting high level discovery calls with executive level prospects in digital, ecommerce and marketing departments, effectively conveying the company’s value proposition.

 

You will have support from the marketing team, working with them to deliver targeted marketing campaigns, and working on leads from events, company webinars, while also using tools to generate your own leads and build your pipeline, to provide the sales team with strong qualified opportunities.

 

Qualifications

The Fit:

 

We are looking for a highly energetic and driven individual, who’s outgoing and confident, who will be able to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic sales environment.

Successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Enterprise software sales, ideally in the retail or ecommerce sector, and strong understanding of technology.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as strong organisation skills and attention to detail, and comfortable handling and responding to objections.

 

As Business Development Representative, you’ll be creative and innovative, with the ability to identify and develop opportunities, and a demonstrable record of delivering a structure campaign based approach.
