Our client is a digital enablement company founded in 2009. They are specializing in client onboarding and regulatory technology solutions for financial services including Corporate & Institutional Banking, Asset Management, Commercial & Retail Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management.

Due to the growth of the company we are looking to hire a Business Development Representative in New York responsible for generating new sales opportunities, engaging with leads, prospects and managing the portfolio of leads & key account contacts.

What the job will entail:

The BDRs are at the forefront of the Sales team, and you will be responsible for qualifying all inquiries that come into our client. This means that a BDR must be able to determine if the product is a good fit for a potential customer's requirements. If there is a “mutual fit”, a BDR’s objective is to move that prospect into the sales pipeline.

· Creating new connections and capturing key persona contact data for key accounts

· Encouraging customer and prospect to attend events and webinars

· Generating leads and opportunities through outbound / prospecting activities into new prospects

· Identify & qualifying inbound leads

· Collaborating with marketing on campaigns to generate pipeline and ROI

  • Be extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every interaction with potential customers

 

What experience is required?

Previous experience working for a fast-growing software company is required, with proven track record selling to Financial Services.

BA, Diploma or industry equivalent qualification.

Self-motivation, energy, high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
