Our client is an award-winning leader in cleaning and facilities management services, providing an integrated approach to operating and maintaining multi-faceted solutions and has more than 50 years experience in this field. The company has a head office located in Dublin and other offices in the UK and US.

Operating internationally across all major sectors, the company is looking to hire a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in selling, preferably in facilities management sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key potential clients in the area and develop sales opportunities through multiple prospecting techniques.
  • Generate new business with targets by calling leads, generating leads and visiting clients.
  • Build productive and beneficial relationships both internally and externally
  • Preparing and submitting written and commercial proposals and tenders
  • Achieve set KPI’s on a continuing basis
  • In conjunction with the local operations team ensure smooth mobilisations of new contracts

Skills Required:

  • Five+ years’ experience in a similar role (B2B)
  • Experience and proven track record in sales

(preferably in facilities management sector)

  • Confident in making client presentations/proposals
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Mature, trustworthy, able to build relationships
  • Motivated to achieve targets
  • A full driving licence
