Client's Description

Our client is an innovative contractor management software company that develops a cloud-based management process for companies to help with the onboarding and training of their employees.

As Business Development Executive, you will report directly to the Sales Manager, and be responsible for managing the existing pipeline, generating new deals and closing Large Enterprise opportunities across the State, in a role that combines inside and field sales.

Job Description
The Job:

  • Manage and own the pipeline from prospecting to close, working closely with the lead generation team.
  • Nurture and communicate with prospects via calls, emails, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations and developing trusted relationships with customers, working with other managers and team members to increase sales opportunities and maximise revenue for the organisation.


The Fit:

Our client is looking for a positive, driven and persuasive individual with excellent influencing skills. Must be able to clearly identify goals and evaluate opportunities, communicate vision and deliver results.

The role is a combination of inside and field sales, so successful candidate will have experience and be comfortable in these areas. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working in heavy industry (construction, oil & gas, mining, renewables, etc).

Qualifications and experience:

5+ years’ experience in a similar role (B2B sales experience).

Experience in Inside Sales (phone / video conference).

Experience in Field Sales (experience in journey planning and sales administration.

Previous experience in heavy industry (construction, oil & gas, mining, renewables) is an advantage.

Excellent commercial skills around contract negotiations and closing skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship management skills.

Availability to travel on regular basis.
