BI Reporting Analyst @ Scaling Online Business

What is this Opportunity?

My client is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to join their team.  This is the 2nd role within this team and you will be reporting directly to their BI Manager. In this job, you will work alongside the members of the Data Insight Group and the wider business to ensure the business has the optimal data strategy for deep insight and ensuring informed business decisions.

My client who are a very successful e-Commerce business, are continually growing, currently employ approx. 120 people, with exciting and ambitious growth plans and who operate in a multi-billion € industry.

What can I expect in this job?

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between the Data Engineer team and the business team, to prioritise the development of new reports and to ensure a common version for their data strategy.

What do I need to bring?

  • Someone who has worked in a customer-focused industry, with experience in the gaming/betting industry being an advantage but not essential.
  • Ideally your will bring 3+ years of proven experience of delivery of insight to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Well versed in the use of database querying software such as Redshift, MySQL etc.
  • Knowledge of Pentaho is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in collaboration with others on a wide scale variety of projects.
  • Strong background in analysis along with been able to deliver actionable insight that drives the business strategy forward, even with no prior exposure to the specific area of focus.
  • A primary degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or numerical related discipline.
  • A naturally inquisitive mind-set and an urge to look for hidden patterns, to understand consumer behaviour, and to use data to test theories

What can I earn?

Successful candidates can expect to earn from €40K - €50K with some really good benefits.
