Client's Description

Our client is a professional IT Consultancy Company that specialises in Software Quality working with global leaders on some of the largest projects in the world. Founded more than 30 years ago, they employ 4.500 in multiple locations worldwide. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join their team to develop new business opportunities and maintain productive relationships with existing customers.

Job Description
The Job:

  • Selling the company’s products and services to new and existing clients, utilising problem/need based techniques.
  • Drive and develop new business opportunities, securing new opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling.
  • Identify, manage and win new opportunities, building and maintaining pipeline in line with targets established.
  • Developing trusted relationships with existing clients and internal experts, working closely with client delivery team and Senior Sales Director.

Our client is looking for a positive, driven and persuasive individual with excellent influencing skills. Must be able to clearly identify goals, communicate vision and deliver results. A sales professional with high emotional intelligence and adaptability to different personality types to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, high energy, passion and a good sense of humour, as well as clear headed and able to stay calm under stress circumstances. Role is a combination of account management and extensive business development (hunter), so successful candidate will have experience and be comfortable in both areas

Qualifications and experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role (business development and account management).
  • Strong experience in IT Consultancy environment.
  • Third level degree.
  • Excellent commercial skills around contract negotiations and closing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship management skills.
  • Self-starter and the ability to work on own initiative.

The Salary:
Up to €80k + bonus (€40-50k)
