2 Business Analyst

We are looking for 2 Business Analyst for a project starting towards mid-end of January.

This role involves liaising with business and IMT staff to elicit requirements and obtain a deep understanding of the business domain. You will be required to create and maintain a full set of documentation. You will foster effective team interaction with team members across multiple locations and place a strong emphasis on mentoring and coaching. This position will also include collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision for the individual projects. You will be required to conduct documentation reviews to ensure all documentation is in adherence to the relevant Department standards. Your role will also involve advising Department Staff on best practice and up-to-date industry standards.

The following will be your tasks:

  • Elicit  requirements using a range of tools which may include, but is not limited to interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering workshops & business process modelling
  • Produce documentation in line with Departmental standards
  • Conduct documentation reviews and ensure that all documentation produced is in line with Departmental standards
  • Understand the business domain, identify needs and evaluate business and technical solutions
  • Manage customer expectations and relationships effectively and professionally
  • Advise on trade-offs between requirement value and development effort
  • Advise on appropriate test strategies and assist with their development and execution
  • Lead effective and positive team interaction with team members across multiple locations

  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Expertise in a business analysis role in ICT projects
  • Expertise in collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision for a project
  • Expertise in conducting documentation reviews
  • Knowledge and application of  a range of business process and systems modelling techniques
  • Knowledge of delivery methodologies
  • Expertise in prototyping and mock- up generation
  • Expertise in the conceptual stages of database design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
